Through the project theme Holding Time, I explored the concept How Lifeforms Change With Time. Time has the power to change, move and warp living beings. Throughout my vessels and pendant, I communicate specific stages in which time has changed the appearance and form of living entities. 

My ceramic vessels and jewellery pendant communicate the theme through New Life, Developed Life, and Decay of Life. Vessel One takes inspiration from the womb, New Life sprouting from its centre. Vessel 2 communicates the blossoming of Developed Life, built tall and pointed towards the sky. Vessel 3 expresses the Decay Of Life, shaped like a coffin, bearing the decomposing life form. The singular pendant expresses all three stages the vessels represent. The various shapes are an illustration of the different stages of life. The rotating butterfly in the centre captures life as a whole, moving and changing in the midst of the light.

Through the notions of Holding Time, the concept How Lifeforms Change With Time expresses the moving and changing elements of life, and their transformations through shifting time.
